Privacy
Your information deserves the same care as the room.
This policy explains what Tycoon collects, why it is collected, and the choices available to you. Effective August 24, 2026.
At collection
What we collect and why.
When you join the interest list, request an invitation, make a nomination, or contact Tycoon, we may collect your name, email address, current work, professional link, written responses, nomination source, and the contents of your message.
We use this information to administer the interest list, evaluate invitation requests and nominations, communicate decisions and updates, operate Tycoon, protect the integrity of selection, and meet legal or security obligations.
Nominations
Information received from someone else.
A nominator may give Tycoon information about another person. We ask nominators to provide only information they believe is accurate and to confirm that they are comfortable being identified as the source. If Tycoon contacts a nominee, the first outreach will explain that a nomination was received and identify the nominator.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information.
Tycoon does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information may be handled by service providers that host the site, process forms, maintain records, or support communications. They may use it only to perform those services. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect people, Tycoon, or the integrity of the selection process.
Retention
We keep only what has a reason to remain.
Interest-list information is retained until you unsubscribe or it is no longer useful for the purpose described. Selection records may be retained for up to three years to document decisions, evaluate a later request, and protect process integrity. Member records may be retained for the duration of membership and as needed afterward for legal, accounting, archival, or institutional purposes. Records may be deleted or de-identified earlier when appropriate.
Your choices
Access, correction, deletion, and updates.
You may ask what information Tycoon holds about you, request a correction or deletion, withdraw from nonessential updates, or ask a question about this policy. Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or to document a completed selection decision.
Contact
Make a privacy request.
This form is the current privacy contact method while Tycoon’s permanent operating email and legal entity are being established.
Changes
If this policy changes.
The effective date will be updated here. Material changes affecting information already collected will be communicated when reasonably possible.
